Conversation with a Cupboard Man invites the audience into a dingy flat in London. Living alone here is the Cupboard Man. Raised by an unhinged mother and subjected to many trials over an eventful life, he recounts the days of his youth and his experience of the "real world" as he approaches adulthood.
