Finbarr Doyle Writer Actor

Jeda de Brí is Founder and Artistic Director of Sickle Moon Productions. She is represented as a writer and director for stage and screen by Lisa Richards.

Most recently she wrote and directed the short film Procession which was selected as part of Screen Ireland (The Irish Film Board) Short Stories Scheme which premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh 2018 and co-wrote and directed TRYST (Project Arts Centre, Civic Theatre, Dublin Fringe 2016 /Nominee Fishamble Best New Writing Award, Published by Oberon Books). She is currently adapting TRYST for screen with Treasure Entertainment and Screen Ireland.

Other directorial credits include: GPO 1818 (Fishamble), The 24 Hour Plays (Abbey Theatre), Fighting Words (Abbey Theatre), Brendan Galileo for Europe (Winner: Little Gem Award, Nominated: Best Director, Broadway World Awards) The Egg is a Lonely Hunter (Dublin & Edinburgh Fringe, Nominated: Little Gem Award & First Fortnight Award at Dublin Fringe & First Fortnight Festival).

As a writer she has co-written all of Sickle Moon's original work to date. Writing/Directing credits include: Spectres, Tactics and Slippers (Trilogy of plays over one year - Theatre Upstairs Company in Residence) and Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde (Theatre Upstairs)

Film credits include: Chimneys (Nominated: Louis le Prince Award, Leeds International Film Festival, Screened: RTÉ Shortscreen 2016) and Spacer (Nominated: Best Short, Fingal Film Fest. Screened: RTÉ Shortscreen 2017.

She is currently participating in Fishambles A Play for Ireland scheme with her co-writer Finbarr Doyle in residence at Draíocht Theatre, Blanchardstown.



Finbarr Doyle is an actor, writer, and founding member of Sickle Moon.

For Sickle Moon, he has co-written the one-act plays TRYST, Spectres, Tactics, and Slippers. He also co-adapted Jekyll and Hyde and co-wrote the short pieces Pitcher, Presentation, Trinkets and Strobing Effects, and the short film Chimneys.

As an actor, he has performed in TRYST, Cirque Des Reves, Pitcher, Presentation, Spectres, Tactics, Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, Conversation With a Cupboard Man and Chimneys.

As a freelance performer, he appeared most recently in The Grimm Tale of Cinderella at Smock Alley Theatre.
